How Do You Set Up The Contact Us Feature?
As we mentioned earlier, the Contact Us Feature is a great way to give your users a quick and easy way to get in contact with you. Let’s now go over the different elements of the Contact Us feature and how to use it.
Image Carousel
The image carousel is where you can add images that will appear above the information in your Body Content as well as your address. If you would like to learn more about the image carousel we have a dedicated article on it which you can access here.
Body Content
The body content is a text WYSIWYG editor where you can add interesting or useful information such as your business’ hours of operation or your holiday hours. This content displays underneath the Contact Information and Address links (if you decide to set them up). You can learn more about what can be done with a text WYSIWYG editor in our dedicated article which you can find here.
Address
The address section is where you can include a map and/or link to your business’ location.
Here’s the steps to take in order to include an address link in your Contact Us feature:
Step 1: Enter your address in the “Address” field
Step 2: (Optional) Overwrite the text of your address with the "Address Title" field
If you don’t put anything in the “Address Title” field, your full address will display as a link that when tapped on will pull up your address their phone’s native map app (such as Google Maps) where they can get directions to your location. If you would like to change the text of your address to be shorter or more action-based, you can change it in the "Address Title" field.
Step 3: (Optional) Click the Display Map checkbox
If you'd like to display a map inside the contact us feature of where you’re located, all you need to do is check the Display Map checkbox.
Contact Info Links
Along with your address you can add other contact information such as a phone number, your organization’s email address, or your social media pages and this can all be set up in the links section.
To add a link click on the “Add Contact Information” button.
This will open up the Action Builder where you can add any number of links which will be accessible to your users when they tap on “Contact Info” in the Contact Us feature (this link appears once you’ve added your first contact link). You can learn more about our Action Builder in the dedicated article that we created which you can access here.
Click 'Save' after adding each item.
You can also use the Action Builder to link other app content or outside sources, like a map, social media content, or your website.
